Our Multnomah County emergency rental assistance is closed for referrals, however we do encourage people to try connecting with 211. A team from local government refers some households each week to NAYA and many other local rent assistance providers. 211 is the pathway for Multnomah County residents in need of rent assistance.
Clark County residents in need of rent assistance can contact the Housing Solutions Center at (360) 695-9677 for a similar system.
Families seeking shelter can call Clackamas County Coordinated Housing Access at 503-655-8575.
Auntie's Place
From the beginning, Auntie’s Place was designed differently. Unlike traditional shelters that often separate family members by gender or age, Auntie’s Place helps keep families intact. This eight-room facility was built around the simple but powerful idea that every family deserves dignity, privacy, and the chance to stay together. Each of the shelter’s rooms can accommodate up to seven family members, offering a 45-day stay that provides both immediate safety and a pathway forward.
Anyone interested in getting help and staying at Auntie's Place to get back on their feet can get a referral through Clackamas County Coordinated Housing Access (link - https://www.clackamas.us/communitydevelopment/cccha)
If you are seeking services related to housing and feel you may be eligible for any of the above, you can also contact Housing Intake Coordinator Alma Franco (503) 288-8177 x422 to learn more about any available openings.
