Policy & Advocacy

NAYA’s policy efforts include engagement in city, county, and state-wide campaigns in both Oregon and Washington to address affordable housing/houselessness, economic development, health, and environmental issues in our community.

Days of Action

NAYA’s Policy and Advocacy team organized two Legislative Days of Action over a two-week span! The Washington Legislative Day of Action was held on March 13, 2025, in Olympia, WA, and the Oregon Legislative Day of Action was held on April 29, 2025, in Salem, OR.

The primary goal for both days was to amplify our legislative agenda and to build relationships with the community and elected officials.
