College visits

Invited youth are those that have been engaged in the College and Career Center through attending College Nights or participating in optional courses offered by the College and Career Coordinator. During 2018-2019, we visited Southern Oregon University, Portland State University, Oregon State University, University of Oregon, and Lewis & Clark College. When visiting campuses students receive a personalized college tour, focusing on critical student support services and meeting Native American faculty, staff, and students when possible.

Summer visits include a one day workshop at Oregon Health and Sciences University and possibly additional campuses for those enrolled in the Summer College and Career Preparation course.
