NAYA’s Summer Camp Rise is a free camp focusing on academic skill building in Language Arts and Math, while providing plenty of other fun opportunities to engage with other Native American youth in the Portland metro area.
In addition to academic activities, students will participate in Native American themed cultural arts projects, receive education on topics like forestry and healthy living, and recreational activities aimed at increasing physical activity. Camp participants will also have an opportunity to go on field trips every Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
There will be three sessions this year. Please apply to either one or two sessions.
o Session 1: July 9th – July 20th – Arts, Culture and Athletics (45 spots)
o Session 2: July 23rd – August 27th Athletics only – Basketball and Volleyball (20 spots, open for grades three and above)
o Session 3: July 30th – August 10th – Arts, Culture and Academics (45 spots)
Summer Camp Rise 2018 Application – due Thursday, June 21st by 5:00 p.m.
Applicants will be officially invited to camp by no later than Tuesday, June 26th

All families interested in attending summer camp are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to join us for our open house. Your attendance gives priority to your camp application!
Dinner, cultural crafts, and childcare are provided for you!
