
Anna Williams
Anna is a nonprofit executive, fundraiser, and strategic advisor with more than 15 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through values-aligned fundraising and leadership. She currently serves as Executive Director, Portland for Ronald McDonald House Oregon, where she leads strategy, programs, and fundraising in support of families with critically ill children.
As a fundraising and strategic planning consultant, Anna has partnered closely with executive teams and boards to strengthen development strategies, diversify revenue streams, and align organizational vision with philanthropic support. Her expertise spans individual and major gifts, donor stewardship, campaign planning, and longterm organizational strategy. Recently, she had the honor of working with with NAYA to support the Development and Communications team through their leadership transition.
As a Native woman, Anna’s professional work is deeply rooted in a personal commitment to advancing BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving organizations. She brings a relationship-centered approach to fundraising—one that honors community wisdom, builds trust, and recognizes fundraising as an extension of mission, culture, and values.
In addition to her executive and consulting roles, Anna serves as an Adjunct Professor in the University of Portland’s MBA in Nonprofit Management program, where she teaches and mentors emerging nonprofit leaders. This work allows her to bridge theory and practice while investing in the next generation of social impact professionals.
Originally from Minnesota, Anna now lives in North Portland with her partner and their two dogs. She is an enrolled member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe. Outside of work, she can often be found exploring Forest Park, sweating it out in a hot yoga class, watercolor painting, volunteering, or spending meaningful time with friends and family.
