On May 19, 2026, voters across Oregon will participate in the Primary Election and it’s an important opportunity for Native communities to shape leadership at every level. This election includes races for U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative, as well as key state positions like Governor and State Legislators. Depending on where you live, you may also vote for Metro President and Councilors, City Councilors, and County Commissioners.

NAYA Action Fund is the 501(c)(4) sister organization of the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA), working to advance Native priorities through civic engagement and advocacy. Their efforts focus on issues impacting our communities, including affordable housing, houselessness, economic opportunity, health, and environmental protection.

As part of this work, NAYA Action Fund engages in campaigns across Oregon and Washington, and shares endorsements to help inform Native voters.

Make a plan to vote:
  • Ballots must be postmarked by May 19 if mailed
  • Drop boxes are open until 8 pm on Election Day
  • County Clerk’s offices are open 7 am – 8 pm
