Traditional Tobacco Dinner

May 1 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Celebrating the Return of Columbia River Tobacco

Join us for a special gathering to share traditions, knowledge, and a meal as we celebrate the return of Columbia River tobacco to NAYA. Two years ago, our dedicated garden staff and Community Health Workers nurtured two of these sacred plants in our medicine garden—marking the first step in reclaiming sovereignty over this important relative.

This year, we are expanding our efforts to cultivate Columbia River tobacco on a larger scale, ensuring community members have access for traditional purposes.
