Today at the Tiny Tot One Stop Shop:

• Chxi San Playgroup, 10 AM- 12PM
• WIC Clinic, 1PM-4PM

From 10AM to noon, we welcome and encourage community, elders and kin to join parents and their children in the Chxi San Playgroup. Chxi San is a community oriented playgroup for parents and their children (pre-birth through age five) that creates a nurturing circle of care. These playgroups provide culturally focused, child-centered, and developmentally appropriate play in a structured environment. Healthy, nutritious and culturally appropriate snacks are provided.

Afterwards, stick around for a WIC Clinic, from 1PM to 4PM. This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors for mothers and their children under the age of 5. Nutrition education is the cornerstone of the WIC Program.

• Birth outcomes
• Health care costs
