On Monday, May 24, from 5 to 6:30 pm, the Portland Youth and Elders Council is holding a Youth Advocacy Summit. The focus for this meeting will be on uplifting youth to use their voices to share their stories and connecting them with the tools and resources needed to pursue their passions and advocate for their community. All ages are welcome to attend! We will be joined by a diverse panel of youth advocates creating change through policy work, art, storytelling, education, community engagement, and more. There will also be space for conversations where elders and community members can share their experiences and guidance around community advocacy.
