NAYA Elders of SWWA – July Gathering: Marigolds as Traditional Medicines
July 1 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

New earlier date for July Gathering – Now happening Tuesday, July 1! Native-identifying Elders living in Vancouver, Clark County, and surrounding areas in Washington State are invited to join our monthly gathering.
These gatherings are an opportunity for Elders to share a meal, discuss current topics, enjoy crafts and activities, and play a game of bingo! For the gathering in July, there will be an activity with NAYA’s Health Equity Team to learn about marigolds as traditional medicines, and then a visit to the new NAYA farm to plant marigolds. If able to come plant, wear sturdy shoes and sun protection.
When: Tuesday, July 1, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Heritage Farm, 1919 NE 78th St, Vancouver, WA 98665 Parking available at location. Serviced by C-TRAN through Bus Route 78 and “The Current” , an on-demand, point-to-point bus shuttle service (360-695-0123 for more info)
