NAYA Elders of Southwest Washington
August 5 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Native-identifying elders living in Vancouver, Clark County, and surrounding areas in Washington State are invited to join our monthly gathering. These gatherings are an opportunity for elders to share a meal, discuss current topics, enjoy crafts, activities, and play a game of bingo!
For the gathering in August, there will be an activity in the classroom at Heritage Farm (ADA accessible) with NAYA’s Health Equity Team to learn about pickling for health and as traditional medicine, and then a visit to the new NAYA farm to tend our tobacco that we planted. If able to come tend the tobacco, please wear sturdy shoes and sun protection.
When: Tuesday, August 5th, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Where: Heritage Farm – 1919 NE 78th St, Vancouver, WA 98665
Parking available at location.
Serviced by C-TRAN through Bus Route 78 and “The Current”, an on-demand, point-to-point bus shuttle service. Call 360-695-0123 for more info.
