NAYA, along with the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde will host an Indigenous Peoples Day program together on October 12, 2020, beginning at 5:30 pm. Healing and Reconciliation: Celebration of Culture will feature a panel discussion with Se-ah-dom Edmo, Jillene Joseph, and Laura John. The one-hour Facebook live event will also include cultural programming and the poetry of Elizabeth Woody. This is the latest in the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland’s “Uncovering the hidden history of discrimination in Oregon” event series.
