Financial Wellness Workshop

NAYA’s Financial Wellness Workshop classes help participants reach their financial goals.
This is part one of a four-part workshop series
The curriculum is adapted from “Building Native Communities,” a financial skills curriculum begun by First Nations Development Institute.
The objectives for class one are:
· Understanding Native communities’ tradition of budgeting.
· Understanding the effect of your purchases on local and/or tribal economies.
· Creating short term and long term Savings Goals, and understanding how they can be affected by your personal goals.
· Creating and understanding a tailored Spending Plan.
Join us from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at NAYA
First Nations Development institute and the Fannie Mae Foundation currently offer the only Native-specific financial wellness curriculum in existence. Various teaching tools will be used in the class including PowerPoint presentations, handouts and workbooks, and prepared flip charts.
