Culture Night

It’s NAYA’s first Culture Night of 2020 and it’s going to be amazing!
Exploring traditionally Indigenous uses of plants and botannicals, we’re offering a devil’s club workshop, and making cedar lip balm you’ll be able to take home.
We’re having drumming and dancing practice. ALL levels are welcome. Everyone begins somewhere so jump in and know it’s a supportive, cool environment.
Finally, staff will facilitate a “bead-this-design-in-yourstyle” beading circle. So come to learn or to watch. Beading is medicine!
Everything is FREE and ALL are welcome. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m.
Most materials will be provided for beginner projects. Youth must be accompanied by a guardian or advocate. All ages and levels of knowledge are welcome and encouraged to attend!
