Culture Night
October 18, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Culture Night is geared towards families who have an interest in learning more about Native cultural identities, and reinforcing them. This year we will feature guest speakers, regular instructors, and volunteers who will guide community members to explore the many facets of our cultures. All ages and levels of knowledge are welcome to attend. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. and most materials will be provided for beginner projects.
Teachers and volunteers will share their knowledge, techniques and traditions. By participating in activities such as cooking, games, dancing, singing and crafts, families will have the opportunity to learn together and connect with other community members. This is also a great time for community members to practice their dancing and singing styles. NAYA welcomes you, and encourages you to attend as many Culture Nights as possible in order to gain a better understanding of new concepts or projects.
