Calling all Natural Helpers and Community Health Workers!
Our Health Equity Team is looking for Natural Helpers and CHW’s to sign-up for the Basic Tobacco Intervention Skills (BTIS) Training — designed for those serving Indigenous communities.
Date: Thursday, September 25, 2025
Time: 9:00am–6:00pm (full 8 hours required)
Location: 5135 NE Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR 97218 Room 203
Together we will learn how to give a brief intervention to members of our community that are interested in changing what their relationship looks like with Commercial tobacco. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certification from the University of Arizona.
