Our Celebration Continues

The Tenth Annual Early College Academy Luncheon

Reclaiming Our Education, Reclaiming Our Future.
Wednesday, April 24, 2019

On behalf of the students and staff of NAYA’s Early College Academy (now Many Nations Academy), thank you to all those who were able to join us in celebrating our youth and their achievements. With the help of our wonderful sponsors, guests and supporters, we surpassed our goals and raised over $90,000 for the culturally-specific programming that helps our students thrive!

We witnessed the powerful invocation and closing story from Davis Washines, Chairman of the Yakama Nation General Council, enjoyed beautiful songs from members of the Grand Ronde Canoe Family, and listened to Senior Aaron Lilly, Navajo Nation, share his incredible journey toward Reclaiming his Education, and his Future.

“It is the responsibility of all of us to take care of these young people.”
–Davis Washines, Yakama Nation, April 24, 2019

Being able to share with the community the amazing stories, dreams and resiliency of our youth is a highlight of our year here at NAYA, and we are so grateful that we could share this special day with you!
