NAYA Welcomes New Development Director

Dear  NAYA Community,
It is my pleasure to introduce to you the newest member of the NAYA Family, Ann Takamoto, Director of Development. Ann comes to us with sixteen years of development experience, the last ten as Development Director at The Audubon Society. As she raised the philanthropic bar for such an extraordinary organization, we look forward to all of the opportunities for growth that she will bring to NAYA.
With a background in new business development and communications, Ann has been in working in development since 2001, developing and managing a diverse suite of fundraising activities including foundation, corporate, individual and membership programs as well as event management. Previously, Ann served as Marketing Chair on the Board of Directors of the Willamette Valley Development Officers, on the Board of Directors at Hands On Greater Portland.
Along with the wealth of experience Ann brings to NAYA, she brings great passion to advocate for our social services and educational programs.  She has voiced her enthusiasm for creating equitable distributions of power and invites all voices, from infant to elder,  to be part of the conversation. We look forward to you joining us at events this new year under her  guidance.Kw’aianuu shamash (I am thankful to you),
