Digital Connectors is a program designed to help young people explore careers in computer technology and digital arts, and is free to youth ages 14 to 21. Participants meet twice a week for 26 weeks, and learn to promote technology in their community. Upon completion, participants receive a Cisco IT essentials certificate, a new digital camera and a Netbook.
About the Instructor
Currin is a Filmmaker in Residence with Hollywood Theatre Studio at Grant High School facilitating over 150 students during the school year in the creation of short documentary films.
About Hollywood Theatre’s involvement
As part of the NAYA’s Digital Connectors program students will collaborate with the students involved in STEP to Respect utilizing Hollywood Theatre equipment and instruction to create a Public Service Announcement exploring the dynamics between healthy relationships and technology. Learn more here.
