NAYA’s Spring Break Camp will focus on education and literacy projects in preparation for NAYA’s “One Book, One Community” Program. In addition to these activities students will participate in Native American themed cultural arts projects. The camp will also include healthy living and Forestry education and recreational activities aimed at increasing physical activity. Camp participants will also have an opportunity to go on field trips. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for participating students.
Join us for our High School Spring Break Camp! We will engage in life skills activities and focus on college and career readiness Monday and Tuesday. The highlight of the camp will include going to Rockaway Beach for an overnight stay Wednesday and Thursday, returning Friday. Many activities include a visit to the Forestry Center, cultural arts, canoeing, xtreme cliff swing, and many more indoor/outdoor activities!
Spring Break Camp will be held March 24-29, 2014. Spring Break Camp Applications will be available in February 2014 at the NAYA Family Center.
