Mondays - Daughters of Tradition
is a year long educational prevention program designed for 8-18 year old girls who learn how their own cultural traditions and ceremonies can provide a framework for healthy lifestyles, how to recognize healthy behavior, and learn how to avoid unsafe situations.  5:00-6:00 pm at NARA NW’s Madison Bldg 1776 SW Madison St.  Contact Darlene Foster 503-224-1044 ext. 256.

Tuesdays and Thursdays – “Young Readers" After School Program Forming.
  Teaching foundational skills of reading to K - 3rd grade.  Every Tuesday and Thursday - 3:30pm to 5:30pm.  Learning letter identification, sounds, sight words, reading skills, and writing through fun activities.  Children read at their successful and developmental reading levels.  Time for homework from school included.  Fun activities and games.  Siletz Johnson O'Malley Program, 3715 SE 39th, Portland, OR.  Contact Katy 503-238-1512.

At PSU Native American Student and Community Center, 710 SW Jackson and Broadway.  Play Group is for children ages 0-5 and their parent(s) and/or guardian to encourage positive interactions with our children. Last Wednesday of the Month - The Oregon Native American Chamber of Commerce meetings. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays Elder's Lunch at the Native American Student and Community Center,
710 SW Jackson and Broadway.  Time: 11:30-2:00. The menu is being changed and updated and will feature buffalo, venison, salmon, cornbread and of course the "3 sisters" of corn, beans and squash. If there is a native food you would like us to serve, call 503-725-9695. Any recipes are welcome. All ages are invited.

Second Wednesday of the Month  - Native Catholics
